Deno to version 1.46.0
Chore
Describe the chore
Thanks for your great job here. Would it be possible to update Deno to version 1.46.0 (https://github.com/denoland/deno/releases/tag/v1.46.0) as I am eagerly awaiting the support for http2session.socket that was added in this version?
Additional context
Add any other context or screenshots that help clarify the task.
@Herklos We just upgraded to Deno 1.45 couple of days back https://github.com/orgs/supabase/discussions/29189
Hoping to get 1.46 upgrade within the next 2-4 weeks.
Thanks @laktek
hi @laktek, how is it going? any plan for deno 2.0?

+1, being able to use npm: to import package is a pretty big deal
I think Thor mentioned on twitter that it would be after Deno 2.1

There is already support of NPM: https://supabase.com/blog/edge-functions-node-npm You don't need Deno 2 for that
Hey guys,
As Deno version 2.1 was released almost one month ago, I want to check if there is any ongoing PR for upgrading Supabase edge runtime. If not, I can start looking at it mid-Jan.
Hey!
Yes please, my project has been waiting on Http2Session.socket Support. I would love to see a newer version of the Deno runtime, as the currently used version 1.45.2 was released in July!
I started to upgrade Deno to v2.1.3, but unfortunately, I don't have enough Rust knowledge.
I followed the steps mentioned at https://github.com/supabase/edge-runtime/blob/main/DEVELOPERS.md#how-to-update-to-a-newer-deno-version, and now I have several errors related to breaking changes on the Rust crates level:
Feel free to check my progress at: https://github.com/marco-souza/edge-runtime
Hey guys 😁
We have started to work on an update for Deno 2.1 LTS. Progress will be tracked in #466.
Since we are skipping 1.46, I will close this issue.
Thank you!
