Custom macro / keybinding that executes a sequence

I looked at #542 and while it seems possible to alter the keybindings I am wondering what would be the best way to introduce a new keybinding to execute a sequence of actions. In my case I would like to have a cleanup action I would execute on a specific keybinding that would search for messages with specific labels, tag them and archive them after - think of it as a "clean inbox" type function.
