Create a Logo

It would be nice if sunkit-image had a logo. Perhaps something that incorporates the sunpy logo that also reflects that this is an image manipulation toolbox?

Hello @curriee11 , while I like the enthusiasm. The likelihood of this being successful is pretty low.

We also generally avoid assigning people to issues to lighten the load on our members so they do not have to manage assignees.

If you are interested in GSoC, solving a programming focused issue would be more valuable.

Obviously I can not stop you and if you want to design something, we can discuss ideas and concepts sometime.

But I can't imagine creating a logo would be quick and if you are interested in GSoC (I am assuming you are), then your time is better spent on other issues.

I am primarily interested in participating in GSoC this year. I appreciate your offer to discuss ideas and concepts for a logo, but I agree that my time would be better spent on other issues for GSoC. I will look for programming-focused issues to contribute to the sunkit-image and integration with sunpy project.
