• Your purpose in using this API:

Currently building a chrome extension that would render new-tabs as a dashboard for Muslims that has a variety of features. One of those features would be an option to display a new hadith each time a tab is opened.

• API rate limits:

Note: the extension is currently in development/testing stages, so usage rates are likely to change in the future after public release

• **Maximum requests per second: 100

  • **Maximum requests per day: 10,000

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access? An offline dump would be useful depending on the size of the data, especially if the data can be queried prior to dumping (e.g. dump only Al-Bukhari hadith). I want to ideally keep the extension file size as small as possible.

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data? English. (Although additional languages might be implemented in the future).

• What programming language will your API client be in? Javascript / Node.js
