Your purpose in using this API: I am developing a Custom GPT assistant that provides verified hadith references for learning, research, and educational purposes. The assistant will only display hadith content on a per-request basis and will not store, mirror, redistribute, or mass-extract hadith collections. The goal is to help users access accurate, authenticated hadith data in a responsible and respectful manner while preserving Sunnah.com as the authoritative source.

API rate limits: Maximum requests per second: 2 – 3 request per second Maximum requests per day: 5000 – 10000 requests per day

Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access? Programmatic API access is preferred, as my use case requires retrieving individual hadith on demand, not bulk downloads. I only need per-request access when a user specifically asks for a particular hadith.

What are the languages in which would you like hadith data? Primarily Arabic and English. If Malay translations become available in the future, I would be happy to use them as well.

What programming language will your API client be in? The API client will be implemented in Python or Node.js, depending on deployment needs for the Custom GPT Action.
