My name is Mohamed Azmeen, and I am the developer of HayatOS, a personal productivity and knowledge platform. Email: [email protected].

Your purpose in using this API: I am integrating Islamic content modules into my HayatOS web application, specifically a Hadith module that allows users to search, read, bookmark, and study hadith collections seamlessly. The integration is purely informational and educational. The API will be used to fetch hadith text, translations, and metadata to display within the Islamic section of HayatOS.

API rate limits: I plan to stay within reasonable access thresholds and will adhere to any limits you consider appropriate.

Maximum requests per second: 1–3 requests per second are sufficient.

Maximum requests per day: Up to 5,000 requests per day at peak usage. Typical daily usage will be lower.

Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access? Programmatic API access is preferred because HayatOS retrieves content dynamically, supports live search, and ensures users always view updated and authoritative hadith text. However, if required, I can also work with an offline dataset.

What are the languages in which you would like hadith data? Arabic and English initially. Additional languages may be added later if available.

What programming language will your API client be in? The primary API client will be implemented in JavaScript/TypeScript within a Next.js (React) and Supabase-based environment.
