Your purpose in using this API: I am conducting academic research to cross-reference narrators in major hadith collections (such as Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, etc.) with biographical data from classical sources. My goal is to analyze narrator coverage and identify narrators missing biographies, as part of a broader study on hadith transmission and isnad networks. The data will be used for non-commercial, scholarly purposes.

API rate limits: Maximum requests per second: 1 Maximum requests per day: 1,000

Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access? An offline dump of the hadith data would be ideal for large-scale analysis and cross-referencing, but I am also interested in programmatic API access for up-to-date queries and smaller-scale lookups.

What are the languages in which would you like hadith data? Arabic and English.

What programming language will your API client be in? Python.
