  • Your purpose in using this API: I am building an educational web application called Hadith Board using React.js. This board will display daily Hadiths in both English and Urdu. Users will be able to browse collections, search, and mark favorite Hadiths. The purpose is to promote Islamic knowledge in an accessible and user-friendly interface, especially for students and general users.

  • API rate limits:

Maximum requests per second: 5

Maximum requests per day: 1000

  • Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?

I would prefer programmatic API access so I can dynamically fetch Hadiths based on user interaction and allow live updates. However, an offline JSON dump would be a good fallback option if API access is limited

  • What are the languages in which would you like hadith data? English and Urdu

  • What programming language will your API client be in? JavaScript (used in a React.js frontend)
