I would like to create a simple Twitter bot that tweets authentic Hadiths periodically for educational and spiritual benefit. The bot will randomly select short Hadiths and publish them to a Twitter account to spread the Sunnah in a simple, respectful, and non-commercial way.
- API rate limits:
- Maximum requests per second: 1
- Maximum requests per day: 100
(This project will only post 1 Hadith every 5–15 minutes, so the usage will remain very low.)
Programmatic API access is preferred, as I would like the bot to fetch Hadiths in real-time and maintain variation over time.
Primarily Arabic. English would be a bonus for future multilingual support.
Python (using the requests library).
