Request for API access: Mohamed Azhan

• Please tell us about yourself (include an email address): salam, my name is Mohamed Azhan my email is ([email protected]) and I am a final year software engineering student, I wanted to try out a bunch of Islamic apps and websites which would allow me to build up my coding skills and help the ummah aswell.

• Your purpose in using this API: I am currently developing an app that is able to tell us what time thajjud should be prayed and here I wanted to add API so that it shows a new hadith each time someone loads uo the app itself.

• API rate limits:

  • Maximum requests per second: 150
  • Maximum requests per day: 600

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access? An API would make the site/app much lighter to use and faster to load up data

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data? I would prefer if the main hadith itself is present and then the english translation of it.

• What programming language will your API client be in? So it would be based of Typescript and Node JS
