My name is Musa living in Turkiye, I am an electronics engineer and normally I am not in ai sector but this project is coming from my heart for Allah' will . I am currently undertaking a personal, non-commercial research project focusing on developing a prototype for a more principled, truth-oriented, and transparent artificial reasoning engine, grounded in Islamic foundational texts. • Your purpose in using this API:

"I intend to use the Sunnah.com API as a foundational data source for my AI project, 'Tam RefleksİYON–Akıl Motoru' (Full Reflection–Reasoning Engine). This project aims to create an AI system that operates based on defined ethical and cognitive principles (such as Justice, Truthfulness, Wisdom) derived from the Quran and Sunnah. This endeavor is a response to the current landscape of AI, which can often be materialistic, prone to manipulation, and lacking a firm ethical grounding. My goal is to develop an AI that serves the cause of Truth (Al-Haqq), embodying this as its core personality. It will be an intelligence that sides only with what is right, based on principles of veracity understood and internalized through the lens of Hadith and Tafsir, learning from real-life examples what the core Quranic concepts truly mean and adopting this as its character. Currently, I need to use Hadith and Quranic texts primarily for training purposes within a local database. If I can find them, I also plan to incorporate Tafsir in the same manner, aiming for an AI that can analyze everything through the 'lens of Furqan' (the Criterion between right and wrong). Your assistance in providing API access is very important for this research, my brother/sister

• API rate limits:

For the initial bulk data transfer to populate our local database (e.g., Kutub al-Sittah collections), we anticipate needing several thousand requests per day (e.g., 5,000-10,000) for a few days, at a controlled rate of around 5-10 requests per second. I am committed to adhering to your specified rate limits and will adjust our usage to comply with your policy. If our anticipated initial usage exceeds what you can typically offer, we are flexible to adjust my plan according to your guidelines. Once this initial data collection is complete, our API usage will be minimal, primarily for very infrequent checks for potential updates or to complete specific, isolated data points.

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?

My primary goal is to build and maintain my own local database of hadith. Therefore, if a periodically updated offline dump (e.g., in JSON or SQL format) of foundational collections like Kutub al-Sittah etc. is available, that would be my most preferred method, as it would simplify initial data loading and minimize the load on your API. However, if an offline dump is not an option, programmatic API access will be necessary for the initial, one-time data collection to populate my local system. Subsequent API usage would then be very minimal.

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?

I primarily require hadith data in Arabic (original texts) and Turkish (translations). Access to English translations, if available through the API, would also be highly beneficial for comparative analysis
