• Your purpose in using this API: I am developing an Islamic web application called "Islamic Center" that aims to provide easy access to Islamic resources like the Quran, Hadith collections, Hijri calendar, and learning tools for users worldwide. The Hadith API will be used to display authentic Hadiths in various languages with search, categorization, and contextual understanding features for educational purposes.

• API rate limits:

  • **Maximum requests per second:**10 requests per second
  • **Maximum requests per day:**10,000 requests per day

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access? Programmatic API access is preferred to ensure the data is always up-to-date and to allow dynamic searching and filtering of Hadiths based on user preferences. However, an offline dump could also be useful for backup purposes. The collected data will not be used for commercial purposes or sales, nor will it be copied or shared without proper authorization.

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data? The primary languages required are Arabic and Indonesia. Support for other languages such as English, Malay, and Chinese would be beneficial to cater to a broader audience. We hope that support for additional languages may be available in the future.

• What programming language will your API client be in? The API client will primarily be developed in JavaScript (using Node.js) and TypeScript, as the application is built with React and Next.js. We might also use Python for backend integration and data processing purposes.
