I'm a data engineer specializing in Neo4j Graph Database Development in my job, but I recently watched a YouTube video from a Da'ee name Farid Al-Bahraini (known as Farid Responds) and he showed a diagram in this video https://youtu.be/Q-h8L0-qS4g?si=DjQ9JoGCi6Y4e4ub&t=693 which absolutely blew me away because the diagram he drew was graph data, and I was inspired to use my skills Insha'Allah for the good of the Ummah to provide a platform where people can easily see the connections between the companions and relatives of the prophet SAW, the Tabi'in, the Tabi' Al Tabi'in, all the way down to the scholars and authors of hadith. So they can increase their iman and understanding Insha'Allah

• Your purpose in using this API:

I am building a hadith chain visualization application using graph database Neo4j to aid in teaching and understanding hadith and why hadith may have different grades based on their chains. Here one example I've added to my database and queried: But for this to be robust, I need a lot of data! And you guys have the best quality data it appears, Masha'Allah.

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?

It is better served with an offline snapshot definitely so I can transform the data in bulk and ingest it all into the graph database for analysis. Then I can focus Insha'Allah on building the front end.

English and Arabic.
