• Please tell us about yourself (include an email address): Assalamu aleykum may Allah have mercy on you, my name is Palung and I am based in the United States. I am of Indonesian descent. My background is as a software developer and I have a keen interest in seeking beneficial knowledge. May Al Alim grant us beneficial knowledge Ameen. My email address is [email protected]

• Your purpose in using this API: I have an interest in development. The plan for me Inshaa’Allah is to create a DIY application for research purposes. I wish to keep a repo of selected Hadiths of different grading. Some of these may be related to books I’m studying such as Usool Fiqh, and Kitab At Tawheed Inshaa’Allah.

• API rate limits:

  • 1-5 Hadiths a second
  • No more than 50 a day

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access? Programmatic access Inshaa’Allah.

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data? English and Arabic Inshaa’Allah

• What programming language will your API client be in? Through Python Inshaa’Allah.
