I'm a software engineer, became religious couple years ago. I've been working with a few scholar and trying to learn while helping them.

• Your purpose in using this API:

I've been told to build a database of hadith for quick-search using vector lookup.

• API rate limits:

  • Maximum requests per second:
  • Maximum requests per day: We'll probably sync every few months. We need to have our own database of records.

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?

An offline dump would be better.

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?

Arabic(scholars language), English(general language), Bengali(my language) and whatever else scholars ask of me.

• What programming language will your API client be in?
