My name is Arthur Choisnet, and I can be reached at [email protected]. I am a reconvert to Islam, and I am enthusiastic about using technology to deepen my understanding and share the beauty of Islamic teachings.

• Your purpose in using this API:

My aim is to create AI-generated videos that illustrate the hadiths in a respectful and informative manner. These videos will not depict any imagery of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in accordance with our Islamic principles al hamdulilah. The content is intended to educate and inspire fellow Muslims and those interested in Islamic teachings.

• API rate limits:

  • Maximum requests per second: Considering the nature of my project, a moderate rate of 1 request per second should suffice.
  • Maximum requests per day: A daily limit of around 500 requests would be ideal, as it will allow for sufficient data retrieval for daily content generation without overwhelming the server.

• Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?

Programmatic API access would be preferable for my project. This allows for dynamic selection and usage of hadiths, ensuring that the content is varied and up-to-date. However, if an offline dump is more extensive or offers certain advantages, I am open to considering it.

• What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?

Initially, I would like to access the hadith data in English or French and Arabic. English & French for accessibility to a broader audience and Arabic to ensure authenticity and connection to the original texts.

• What programming language will your API client be in?

I will be using Python for querying your service. Python's versatility and the wealth of libraries available make it a suitable choice for handling API requests, data processing, and integration with AI for content creation.
