Modals will not open

Describe the bug most of the time, the modals will not open. sometimes they have worked, im not sure what determines this. i tried turning off all the other plugins, it did not help.

To Reproduce

  1. Go to any note
  2. Open command palette
  3. Enter one of the Local Quotes commands
  4. Nothing happens

Expected behavior i expected the modal to pop up.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: macOS High Sierra
  • Obsidian version 1.5.8 Additional context when i have got it to work sometimes (not sure what was different then, sorry) the quote would show up at first, but then disappear (display a blank) instead of refreshing. not sure if that is relevant to this issue but thought i would mention it. thanks for your time!

@single-effect-event Hello! Thanks for catching. Can you share the screenshot of your settings and a sample of your quote listing (you can change text if you don't want to reveal it)?

hi, thank you for the reply! since posting this, ive discovered a quote block i made a while ago is working. the modals are still nowhere to be seen though. Screen Shot 2024-03-20 at 17 53 34
