searching is a poppler function. It is performed blocking, so the txs stops until that function returns. If it needs to search through a lot of text, that may take...
that is probably a technical limitation. I have not rechecked.
txs does not support for syntax checking commands with variable number of arguments. maybe in future.
on German keyboard this works fine. ctrl+shift+, results in ctrl+shift+; which is recognized.
I would recommend to update to current version of txs (ppa). Any way, not reproducible, no feedback.
1) please use the normal way,i.e. answers/comments, as otherwise notification is not triggered 2) the ppa is probably due to ubuntu having split texstudio into 2 packages. Remove texstudio package...
it tries to install ubuntu 18.04 version of txs ? Anyway, deinstallation apparently did not work. /usr/share/texstudio should not exist at this point.
