Its this: https://discord.com/invite/ZzfBPQG4sV (its from readme) i don't think its broken, what did you see?

Safari cant open it

I googled a little bit, turns out, its just safari issue, it does not support discord invite link. Theres another way to do this:

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of your server list, and click add server.

  1. Put the invite link and press "Join Server"

In my case, turns out my Discord hasn't been updated. I updated the app, and then the link works fine!

However, I think your step by step should also works fine.
