I can confirm this is now working for me as well - thanks for the suggestion - much better than having an automation in HA!!

Hmm - after running it for a few hours I just checked and the unit is now reporting `0x01` for the outdoor temp; ``` fc 62 01 30 10 03...

Ah of course, it only reports a valid outdoor temp if the unit is powered up and running. Not sure if you want to have this given it is not...

I would only think you can use it for readonly operations - i.e. indexing snapshots etc. It just means if there is a backup operation in-progress the snapshot indexing will...
