Importing only data with dates within a specific range

Feature to import only records with dates within a specific range, such as 01/01/2020 - 01/01/2021

Currently, we think the only way to do this is to modify the prerequisite libraries or sacrifice significant processing speed. If you have any good ideas, please let me know.
