Navigation Problems

Open McAnndra opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

SumatraPDF version

  • v3.4.6 64Bit

Describe the bug the navigation through the document is not possible - clicking on any point in the toc list isn't cause any action.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Load document
  2. table of content is been displayed
  3. clicking on any line of the toc
  4. nothing happens

Expected behavior Normally I can navigate throught the books from any chapter to the next just as integrated in the toc.

File that reproduces the problem it is an epub and I will add all relevant parts of it.

Screenshots If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Additional context Add any other context about the problem here. documents structure OEBPS relevant files.txt

I put the annonymized excerpts of relevant files in the text file

The reason why I came to this was that the cover was been displayed properly and all following pages as well. At first I took a look at the document with version v3.1.1 64Bit and there I found, that I can navigate throught the whole document properly to each point in the toc ... EXCEPT I never came back to the cover page. I did some tryouts changing this and that (of course with a copy of the document) with no positive result. So I transferred the document to another machine with v3.4.6 64Bit where I now be very surprised to find, that here no single point in the toc can be hopped to. So even if the cover page was not selectable in v3.1.1 the functionality is FAR BETTER working in this document than the new version.

So this issue contains two parts: 1. how to activate the toc functionality and 2. how to get sure, that the coverpage is navigatable as well as any chapter.

In the zip file I put here a reduced version of the document where you can see the differences: in v3.1.1: page#2-v3 1 1 in v3.4.6: page#2-v3 4 6 Test.zip

Would you please tell me the reason of this behavior and options to fix that? It might be something within the document, but I cannot identify that, because I'm nit THAT familiar with (x)html and what effects are really caused by what part in the doc.

Thank you

Hmm The coverpage is not accessible in MS Edge but page2 and page 3 are working.

And without unpacking the epub itself it works well in current pre-release ! image
