Zoom limit when using ctrl + mouse wheel under certain circumstances

I used to use mouse wheel together with ctrl-key to zoom in an out. Now, a was faced with a document consisting of two different sized pages. When zooming in, SumatraPDF gets into a loop of switching between "fit to page" and "50 %" with every mouse wheel ratchet. I cannot reach large zoom factors using ctrl/mouse wheel. Zooming out works normally. Zooming to a large value by choosing the appropriate menu entry works normally. Then I can further zoom in and out even with ctrl/mouse wheel. Until I fall below mentioned limit; zooming in afterwards is limited again. Changing window size stops this effect. Resize to the former size coarsely by visual judgement let the effect occur again.
