DLSS 2.5.1 not working on RTX 4070 Ti

After watching the Digital Foundry video about this project, I wanted to give it a try. Very impressive and runs well over 60 FPS comfortably on a RTX 4070 Ti without DLSS or FSR. So DLSS is not needed here, but I wanted to submit a bug report for awareness and in case this issue is happening on other GPUs that might need DLSS.

That video mentions issues with using DLSS 3 around the 17:43 mark. It suggests trying DLSS 2.5.1 supplied by TechPowerUp here. I am using the latest release build (1.0.5) on Windows 10 and followed the installation instructions exactly (including the optional steps for DLSS) with the exception of using the TechPowerUp DLSS 2.5.1 file. DLSS is grayed out in the settings menu and cannot be turned on.

Side note: I did not try using DLSS 3 yet to see if the issue persists. I will attempt this later today or tomorrow and update this post.

did u ever get it working? im on a 1660 super and i cant get it working (yes i know its not an rtx card, but it runs this, and i know it has dlss support because ive used it in other games)
