Can't move forwards or backwards

On a brand new install of HL, moving forwards and backwards doesn't work after a couple minutes. Unbinding and rebinding doesn't fix it.

Checked in the unmodified HL and I can move just fine.

Having the same issue. wanted to add that binding other keys to forward or backward also doesn't work.

Is there a way to enable the console with this version? Adding -console to the steam launch options doesn't apply to the mod.
I've seen elsewhere that a fix is to pull up the console and enter CL_forwardspeed 9999 then CL_backspeed 9999

edit: relaunching a couple times changed the problem. Now forward and backward work fine... until i alt-tab, then the game holds back permanently down.

Open "xash3d-console.bat" and console will be enabled. It is located in rt_bin folder
