support for searchable transcriptions with audio/video objects
For an enhanced user experience, and to better meet overall accessibility requirements, the media viewer should support the ability to associate timed text transcriptions for synchronized and full-text search access.
Note: More detailed set of requirements for this enhancement can be provided.
To comment further: Columbia Univ has a project underway to build this functionality in the Hydra framework. Opportunities to collaborate exist.
We have partially achieved this via the new transcription display, where [cmd/control + f] searching picks up the text within the viewer.
Further enhancements to full-text search will need additional requirements.
