Excessive Boundwith parent display found on some records

On some records, we're displaying many "Item is bound with other items - See items" notes/links in the Availability panel, but only one volume is a Boundwith principle in Folio. (506 .S239 NO.31-33 1945-1954)

If you click on an erroneous "See items" link (like the 1906 volume), the user sees an error:

If the user opens the expando, or clicks "Request" the Boundwith note is displaying correctly on the 1945-1954 volume only:

So on some level we know the only BW principle is 1945-1954. But the availability panel is wrong.
