Not retrieving pieces information (for "latest" display) when record is attached to an order line in a package

Reported by Serials staff. In the SearchWorks "At the Library" section we're not displaying the "Latest..." statement for some Serials. When staff view the record in FOLIO, there are pieces associated with the order, but when staff look in SearchWorks => Librarian view => FOLIO JSON the pieces section is null.

In FOLIO, the receiving history looks like this:

Notice that this title is one of two titles in a package. You can see the two titles in the middle column above. (Under "Actions"). Could something about the fact that this title is associated with a package mean that we're not getting the pieces?

New info from Irina: this is a new process that started AFTER migration. So we didn't have any examples like this in folio-test before migration and it's not migrated data.

This is also a problem in Traject::FolioPostgresReader. I am not sure how data is being pulled in via Searchworks but based on the traject indexer this field was never really set from what I can tell. The query is just searching for a field in the db called pieces: https://github.com/sul-dlss/searchworks_traject_indexer/blob/e0491c887170813888862756b2aa291304fc728c/lib/traject/readers/folio_postgres_reader.rb#L374.
