I set the folder to my porn folder and it deleted everything
Why was there no warning!? I thought that if I set Dreamtime's folder to my porn folder then it would add to it, not delete it! I lost many nudes from women that were not on the internet and I've lost over a year's worth of downloads and paid subscriptions. They weren't in the trash folder but they're nowhere to be found. I want a solution or compensation
I also did not backup my porn folder

Try recovering files with recuva if you're on windows, else figure out yourself. Download, Install, launch a scan, try to select all the files that were on your folder. Remember to always backup your imortant data, 1 copy stored offsite, 2 copies in 2 different hard drives in case one fails (ssd are better but do with what you have). On top of everything I would recommend you encrypt backups and encrypt also the folder with veracrypt, by creating a volume in a file. Lastly, that was the expected behavior (if they were files in your folder, it assumes that it was an old install and delete everything in order to make room for the new install), and you should not try out things with important data / folders.... And for not backing up, you're at fault so don't complain. But I will investigate the issue and try to implement something to at least warn users....
