[BUG]:Size of blocks changes inconsistently while zooming in and zooming out

Description

whenver i click "Increase Block size " or "Decrease Block size" ,size of few blocks doesn't change unless i move my mouse by few pixels and sometimes it totally gets stuck then i had to move whole page.

Also one thing i noticed is the bottom toolbar becomes invisible whenver i try to record ,so i need to do a refresh.

Expected Behavior

size of blocks should change as soon as i click the button

@walterbender I think the canvas needs to be refreshed to solve this issue.
