black screen on OLED
It seems to work on OLED(I can feel joycon shaking),but the screen doesn't show anything.
Tegraexplorer does not have the newest hekate fixes yet. Although i can't test if oleds will work, as i don't own one.
I will at some point update the bdk so hopefully this will be resolved
I updated to the latest bdk from hekate and it works fine on OLED Switch https://github.com/dezem/TegraExplorer/commit/b07cde88a08a39f94b1bc427c7f5c23ffd3ad8fd
Compiled Version https://github.com/dezem/TegraExplorer/releases/tag/4.1.0
This issue is not resolved in this repo. I'll leave it open until i get around to updating the bdk myself
This still needs an update.
why havent we just merged @dezen's updated bdk
I've been busy with uni. Also, i've created a branch to use hekate 5.7.0's bdk, but there are some issues with crypto operations that i still need to figure out
@dezem, your 14.0.0 release seems to have lost oled compatibility, as per https://gbatemp.net/threads/switch-noob-paradise-ask-questions-here.488277/page-1616
I don't know if the 13.2.1 release works or not.
@Takokeshi on my OLED it works fine, please use the Release version from my repo. If you want to compile it yourself, be sure you check out the right branch "oled" -> https://github.com/dezem/TegraExplorer/tree/oled The master branch is even from suchmememanyskill, makes it easy to merge for me
I don't have an oled. I linked your releases to someone and they said it didn't work. Then I pointed them to your origi al release instead of the latest one, and that one worked.
He should try it again and be sure that he uses latest prod.keys from Lockpick_RCM
That's my OLED

I think that may have been their problem. I made them re-dump prod.keys and they've confirmed that it works now. I don't personally use tegra explorer so I had no idea it required prod.keys
Thank you for your time, and apologies for the bother!
Had the same issue, this repo release is not working with OLED but the one from @dezem works like a charm.
The old setup instruction I followed was somethink like using Tegra explorer to make partition and mount SD. However, these functions is now integrated into Hekate and do not required key dumping for it. Hekate may also back up the files on the cards and set the size of the partition. So we can put all files inside the card and start Hekate directly, no more eject and reinserting cards. I have the black screen problem on using Tegra Explorer on OLED too, but I do not have to use it now.
Any moves on official support for the OLED or is that dead in the water? (Been 1 year since the OLED was released)
Theres a modified tegraexplorer that works with OLED wiht updated BDK

I can read.
"official support"
I tbh have lost all motivation to work on anything from the switch scene. Maintaining should be fine (i'll update for 15.0 later, or when hekate updates for it), but a bdk upgrade is annoying to do
That's a shame but thanks for the response.
Why not merge the changes from the fork that supports OLED instead of updating the bdk yourself?Sent from my iPadOn Oct 11, 2022, at 3:00 AM, suchmememanyskill @.***> wrote: I tbh have lost all motivation to work on anything from the switch scene. Bdk updates most of the time break very small things and i really don't want to test for hours on end to try to see if that's the case
I also can't make TegraExplorer to work on my OLED. OFW = 15.0.1, CFW = 15.0.0. LockPickRCM = 1.9.9 I tried a bunch of versions of TegraExplorer and all leave me with black screen! I also tried 4.1.0 posted in this thread!
@PsySc0rpi0n you need the TE 4.4.0 for fw15 support -> check my latest release https://github.com/dezem/TegraExplorer/releases
+1 With the release of 16.0.2 I'm guessing TegraExplorer going to need an update? Black screen for me.
Tegraexplorer still doesn't work on oled, 16.0.2 has nothing to do with this...
@dezem or @suchmememanyskill you know why tegra explorer systemrestore not working on consoles with picofly? Is a script issue or payload need be updated? I Mari both because I know @dezem have a build working with screen on oled units
I don't know. I don't have an oled and also don't provide support for it
I don't know. I don't have an oled and also don't provide support for it
but systemrestore fails in v1, v2 or lite too with picofly not only in Oled
I have used my systemrestore script last week twice without issue. It still works.
I have the same problem with Oled (HWFLY) with version 16.0.2.
Known issue Read through this thread and find the other fork and use that. This will likely never get fixed in master. (If your talking about the black screen)
The fork that had OLED support is 404ing now, does anyone have a backup or alternative? I've looked around but I can't find anything.
I’ve got the binary
