can't even re install!
plain and simple, a reboot before I'd finished setup on screen, next boot I'm getting an alternating brightness screen (actually a flash, slightly brighter than the steady state white screen) I cannot even reload the files. The web interface says it's connecting/installing, but goes finally fails to connect.
I've found now that although I can connect to the CYD without issue, none of my burner web apps will communicate, all saying no serial data avail. (yes I've changed/tested cables, ports, etc)
So effectively, this app has now bricked what was a perfectly good ESP32-2432S028R.
I even tried the direct python way to erase the flash (boot loader must still work or the comm port would not connect to the pc) ...EG: ( https://www.electronicwings.com/esp32/esp32-erase-flash-memory) as an example
So WHAT is this app doing that prohibits loading any other software being loaded on a CYD after it's been here ? HELP! reset/boot buttons do make a diff on power up, (forced boot mode) but still no serial data response (and a black screen). Pull the power and reboot, I get the whites screen (with brightness flash) and again... no serial data response from the device.

Nothing. Even if the esp is entirely empty you can reflash it.
Just to make sure, hold boot, press reset while holding boot, keep holding boot. It should show up as a serial device. While flashing, continue holding boot. I find that some of my devices incredibly finicky too and outside of a button dance can't be reflashed.
It might also be worth noting that the boot or reset buttons could be failing also (held is seen as interrupted presses).
...was finally able to at least get the device to re-install CYD-Klipper, and properly up and running again.
but the issue still now persists, albeit wit ha slight variation now.
I was able to get two other web based esp32 device loaders to load their apps, but three others that previously worked, all respond with ... no serial data... even though they connect to the port without issue. even an epressif supplied debug util will not connect.
Swore I wouldn't, but I just sacrificed a second device... SAME ISSUE! Now I have two semi bricked CYD's that won't even revert back to the previous installations prior to this app. :-( live and learn right!
