badges are not pulled out to dev status sidebar on pkgdown

currently, the badges are not being pulled out of the README.md body and placed into the dev status sidebar in pkgdown. This is probably due to some weirdness caused by the jumbotron in #196.

It's a pretty minor thing and just visual, so I'm not going to fix this for now. Might require a bug report upstream.
