git status displays too many modified files in status bar

Description of the bug

ST 4202 displays lots of changed files, regardless worktree in question being clean.

Likely related with https://github.com/sublimehq/sublime_merge/issues/2112

Steps to reproduce

Open a sparse-checked-out worktree in ST.

Expected behavior

git status should only display modified files, which belong to checked out worktree.
