You can download repo, last extension is in app folder. You can add manually.

But here is the problem, i m using chromium ungoogled. Even if i add manually in developer mode, it is being deleted everytime i close and open chromium. is there any settings for it?

Clone here via git or download as zip:

https://github.com/subhra74/xdm

You will find "app" folder. Under it, there is "chrome" folder. You can add it directly to your chrome based browser as "unpacked extension". Don't forget to turn on developer settings in extension part of your chrome based browser.

I tried this but keep getting "Unchecked runtime.lastError: Access to the specified native messaging host is forbidden." error, and it's not catching monitor links. These are from websites that used to work before I reset my computer.

i wish i could help more. I'm just dedicated user of xdm, not related with any build. I hope developer will take care of this soon and most importantly he/she is fine.

On the other hand, according to my knowledge, your situation is not general and specific to your system even for this method. Again, according to my knowledge you need to explicitely give your extension access to the NativeMessagingHost. You can google your error and i m sure you will find some solutions.

It is directing to register with app but chromium is not able to open app. How can i register extension in app manually? Thanks in advance.

just curious why it is deleted? Is it against Google ToS? or Is it malware?

Perhaps that or they removed it themselves as they somewhere say they're testing a new beta!
