This extension contains malware.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Edge
  2. Click on Extensions
  3. Scroll down to Xtreme Download Manager
  4. See "This extension contains malware." message

In my 2 years of using this DM, it only gave this message previously once and never again, Now it's here again.

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro, 21H2, ‎05-‎03-‎2022, 22000.778, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.778.0
  • Browser: Edge Version 103.0.1264.49 (Official build) (64-bit)
  • XDM addon: 2.1
  • XDM Version: 7,2.1

You can install another extension called Xtreme Browser Monitor place of that one. Fixed it for me. From edge add-ons. 😄

@subhra74 the extension itself was called Xtreme Download Manager. I uninstalled that one and installed the right one. I was mistaken. 😋
