WRITE DESCRIPTION HERE

I had previously reinstalled my XDM with the latest version of its software. During this time, there was a glitch that caused my XDM shortcut to no longer work and had to be deleted. After reinstalling XDM, it seems there is permanently no longer a proper shortcut I can use to open XDM without restarting my computer for it to a load on startup as set in settings of XDM. The .exe that XDM uses does not open the application for it is a regular java related script. This causes me to not be able to access my XDM when wanting to. I've went and manually searched for the shortcut multiple times after reinstall but I have nothing. The only way I have access is either after a computer restart or in the bottom right taskbar of all enabled applications in windows 10.

I went to a page stating there is a shortcut option in the (File) listed setting in the top of XDM when searching for help on google, as it was the top listed (official) answer to this problem. This however is not the case and the (create a shortcut) option is not visible anywhere in any tabs of XDM or settings. I am now stuck here to do nothing but hope someone can find a solution to this for I have nothing on my end. Please help if available and as soon a possible for an all knowingly good experience at XDM support. I have searched many ways of communication within the community of the internet but but have come up empty handed. I hope you have the answers google does not for me. Take care!
