Question

How do i fix the error which says "failed to append/convert file parts". I have reinstalled xdm, i have checked that my temp file and my destination file has enough space for the file, I have shortened the name of the file, and i am clueless of what to do next. image

Hi Subha Thanks for this amazing download manager. Actually, I've been faced this issue recently. There is no error when you download a regular file such as zip or rar or exe. Just when you download the video file from sites like youtube. Surprisingly there is no error on Linux and just in Windows, you encounter this issue.

I hope this is useful for debugging.

I'm having the exactly same issue, and I have even tried to read the logs if I could see something usefull, but it seems like there is nothing to do about it. Hope an update fixes this.

Hello, this solution Don't Work for all video files... (on Linux Mx21.01-based on Debian Bullseye 11 & Kde Desktop 5.20...) I try the solution on the video, but nothing happen & i stay with the same problems & with the same disk write error, because of the disk either called "Full" or "Write Protected"......

Hello Subra... I have this same problem again, after reinstalling "Xdman" on a new System "Mx21.01", based on "Debiian Bullseye 11" and "KDE 5.20"... After installing Xdm, everything was going great & everything was working well... Then just after this, now, on the new Video downloads from Youtube, it starts again, & we have the same type of problems again, when I thought this was all settled a long time ago... Still this same Error at the end of the Download, saying: *** "Failed to add parts of the file, check if the Disk is "Full" or "Write Protected"... (* Translated from the French interface...) Well, I don't know what I can do to solve this... So, thank you for your advice & help...
