To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'new video'
  2. Click on 'video download
  3. Dont show link the video

Expected behavior I cant download youtube video Screenshots If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

  • OS:Debian 10
  • Browser: Opera,
  • XDM addon Version [e.g. 2.0]
  • XDM Version 8.0.29

It does the same for me, nothing to download. I updated to yt-dlp nightly, but it didn't change anything.

same here. lots of downloaders are having trouble with youtube downloads and was hoping xdm would help

It doesn't work sadly. I use Youtube Downloader Plus app for. The same Open source and works with youtube links.

yeah i think youtube has protection try using wave.video
