could not open workspace

i got a problem when i try to open VEGA , i receive the error : could not open workspace.

it's from my computer or ? i need to delete something?

I have the same problem. Vega was working fine and suddenly threw this error "Could not open workspace" The only thing had changed was java version, it was updated to java 8; I returned to 7 but the problem persists!

I ran into this, too, on Mac OS 10.11. I found you could run it via the command line as admin like so: sudo -b /PATH/TO/Vega.app/Contents/MacOS/Vega

I stuck that into a text file called vega-proxy.sh and gave it 777 fileperms (not ideal), and dragged that file into the last section of my dock. That way, all I have to do is go to my dock, click on it, then it may request my admin password in a terminal window.

Not pretty, but at least it runs that way.

just remove ./vega folder under you home directory. As for KALI: rm -fr /root/.vega Easy...
