Freezes at 13%

I put a scan on and left the computer to scan and when I came back it was unresponsive at 13% Windows 7 x64

I've noticed this too, worked with a small site but a little bit bigger and it eats lots of resources and eventually I get a 'IOConsole Updater' has encountered a problem error.
