Can#t authorize keyfile

If I choose the right keyfile and password it says the following:

Error InvalidKey: invalid key

I use Keepass 2 and created a kbdx file the keyfile is a .key file. The algorithm is AES/Rijndael 256 Bit.

Meanwhile, does your database work with KeeWeb?

Does it work if you save a new copy of your database and change the master password, or does it work without a keyfile?

Can you create a brand new database with a keyfile and does that work? Without a keyfile?

What Key derivation function are you using? AES?

I haven't tried it with KeyWeb yet.

The same database works without a keyfile but with one it does not. Same for new databases.

I use the standard option to generate a keyfile with random mouse and keyboard input.

Can you please upload the new database you created with the brand new keyfile that doesn't work? Also I'll need to know the password.

Providing me with an example database/keyfile that tusk can't open is the best way to help get an issue resolved.

EDIT: As promised, https://github.com/subdavis/Tusk/wiki/Troubleshooting has been written. You've already done this part, and I just need the new sample database you're having trouble with.
