Stats - Ignore Filesystem & Mountpoint Separator

Open lachieh opened this issue 10 years ago • 2 comments

Just thought I'd mention that the 'ignore filesystem' and 'ignore mountpoint' features of the stats module require the items to be separated with " , ". That is a space, a comma, and another space. I thought it wasn't working for a while because I wasn't using spaces either side of the comma.

For example, if I enter fusectl, tempfs into the ignore filesystem box, it won't work, but fusectl , tempfs will. The same thing goes for mountpoints; / , /run works, but /,/run doesn't.

I can't really see a need for there to be commas or whitespace in a filesystem type or mountpoint, and if there is, it should be escaped like any terminal command /name\ with\ space for example

Its require a space as seperator is memory serves me correct. Escaping is unnatural for a normal user IMO at least for windows users. If we change it everybody will have to fix there settings, I'll rather update the help text if anything is unclear

I see that the help text and placeholder text is wrong... I initially had , as seperator but I changed it for some reason. I can't remember why but there was something I struggled with.
