ahahaha, awesome faces. I'd like to move the components into their own thing some time and keep nib for the css3 stuff

+1 Lea Verou has done some awesome work with those css3 patterns. It would be cool to have them as mixins as you could make the colours arguments etc to abstract away the sometimes complex layered gradient hacks used to achieve it.

As TJ says maybe component type stuff belongs in another project ? Compass has extensions that are just special rubygems. Maybe nib could support a standard extension mechanism with NPM packages as extensions ? Something similar was raised with #5.

This issue is probably blocked by #14 due to the requirement for multiple background gradients.
