The command line option which `x11vnc` uses for clipping to a sub-region of the full display is `-clip WxH+X+Y`.

Could you run a new test with the latest code? The last pull request #39 might have fixed this issue.

It should be possible to kill the running VineServer process and then restart the machine.

MacOS comes with `pkill` (kill process by name) which might be sufficient for this job.
