no sound with linux-image-5.6.0-1056-oem

Before running the script I installed to supported kernel, with the following command. sudo apt install linux-image-5.6.0-1056-oem

Then followed the procedure, but still have no sound.

also desactivate sound from bios restart, reactivate sound and restart... no change.

I'm on linux mint 20

What's your output from uname -r?

5.6.0-1056-oem

That should be one of the supported Kernels. I assume there might be some Distro differences in Linux Mint. Unfortunately I'm only using Ubuntu. Maybe you could try 5.11.0-25-generic which was suggested here https://github.com/stukev/XPS-17-9700-Ubuntu-Soundfix/issues/3#issuecomment-895983178.
