fSpy Not showing in Blender

I downloaded the fspy app and works fine, I saved a photo i wanted to work on. However, when I try opening it with the add on on blender what happens is that it adds a new camera but it does not show the image I have been working on.

Is there a way to fix this?

Rolled back to 3.3.2 lts - same thing. Can anyone confirm it should work in 3.3?

Pretty sure this project is dead, so I wouldn't count on any fixes coming. Might be time to start looking for an alternative.
