Doesn't work with 3.2
After following the ReadMe images multiple times, whenever I try to install the add-on via the usual method, nothing happens. Can we get an update please?
Thanks,
Tom
Error message:
Operator bpy.ops.object.camera_add.poll() failed, context is incorrect
As a work-around for now, create a camera with the name of the fspyfile, e.g.: "camera.fspy", making sure that "Update existing import" is checked, so that it doesn't have to create the camera that it doesn't manage to create.
it doesn't work in the "Modeling" Workspace but it works in the "Layout" Workspace for me in Blender 3.2. Just one issue it changed my Units to Meters from Cm, thus just start with a new file and you will not mess up your old one.
Just did an install with 1.03 addon on blender 3.2.1 (linux) and it worked out of the box.. and yes it doesn't work in edit mode..
I'm going to test this with Windows 11 Pro, 10.0.22621 Build 22621 & Blender 3.5.0 - Alpha (https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/blender-3.5.0-alpha+master.587b213fe168-windows.amd64-release.zip) December 02, 03:44:34 [587b213fe168] (https://developer.blender.org/diffusion/B/history/master/;587b213fe168)
Will this be turned into a full blender plugin later on? Kind of like the camera matching tool in SketchUp? Or are there any newer plugins like this that do the same job?
No it's standalone.. but there are a helper on blendermarket for 1$ https://blendermarket.com/products/blender-mappy And another fully implemented in blender for 15$ https://blendermarket.com/products/perspective-plotter
