I am running into this same duping issue. I did a git clone from Ubuntu as well as downloaded the Ubuntu 3.1.1 binary.

Just an update to the duping issue. I rolled back to 3.1.0 and the duping issue has gone away, so it definitely is something in 3.1.1.

This does persist when re-launching. I was hoping maybe it was just taking a bit on the first run but even after I stop and restart it, the issue remains....
