Docs: AllInOnev4 part U2 vref missing from schematic, layout

Open mitchese opened this issue 5 months ago • 1 comments

According to the docs, the vref should be set by either part U2 or by part U6:

https://github.com/stuartpittaway/diyBMSv4/tree/master/ModuleV490-AllInOne#lifepo4-cells-up-to-400v-maximum

There is no U2 on the schematic anywhere and the suggested part is a SOT8, the footprint for U6 is a SOT23-6, so it seems like it is not a "populate this spot with either chip".

Is this a mistake in documentation or is U2 missing?

Hello, thanks for the interest in diybms.

Take a look in the mcp1502-45e branch on GitHub.

The original design allowed a selection of voltage references, but in later revision that was simplified to one (4.5V) as part U6.

The updated design is in that branch
